Today was a threshold workout consisting of four consecutive miles. Goal pace was between 5:32/ mile and 5:37/mile. I ran 21:51 in total, averaging out to 5:28/mile, so I went a bit fast. I felt a bit tired, but nothing that would prevent me from hittin the miles. I finished with 2x400 meter strides, both at 66 seconds. A couple of easy miles were also thrown in the mix, serving for a pretty good workout!

Were your splits even/negative? Did it feel like you could run this pace forever? If yes, it was at or below your true threshold.

On another subject, how would you like to come over to Utah for a visit in July and run in some local races? I am particularly interested in what you can do in the Draper Days 5 K and Deseret News 10 K.

Yeah, I felt like I could hold this pace for a while. As for July, I would definitely like to head out to Utah and run some races!!! I always hear about all of these races you guys on the blog run, and I would love to join in.
